Tootles
& Slightly
knows that you care how information about you is used and shared,
and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly.
This notice describes our privacy policy. By
visiting Tootles & Slightly, you are accepting the practices
described in this Privacy Notice.
Tootles & Slightly does not disclose buyers information
to third parties.
Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only
to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have
selected an item.
Information We Use
We never sell, rent, or distribute your personal information
to any company under any circumstances. We do not share your e-mail
address with other parties - we absolutely hate spam as much as
you. If you choose to purchase a product from us, we collect your
name, e-mail address, and billing postal address. We collect this
information in order to properly process your purchase. If you choose
to contact us and provide personal information about yourself, we
will use this information only to respond to your inquiry (e.g.
if we need to mail you products, we will obviously disclose your
name and mailing address to the Post Office). We will not sell or
rent personal information to third parties.
We retain all customer correspondence for at least
one year. Correspondence regarding disputed issues may be retained
for up to seven years. The only instance in which information
contained in correspondence we receive would ever be shared with
third party, is if the information in necessary to resolve a dispute
that involves the third party (e.g. PayPal).
Each time you request a page during a visit to Tootles
& Slightly,
we collect certain technical information from your computer. This
information may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your
computer's browser type, operating system and the address of a referring
website, if any. We collect this information to enhance your experience
during your visit to our site and will not sell or rent this information
to any third parties. We use this information to analyze general
traffic patterns (e.g. what pages are most/least popular, where
are most referrals originating, etc.).
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption
The security of your personal information is really important
to us. For secure e-commerce transactions, all credit card information
submissions use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology,
the most extensively used data encryption coding system.
Tootles & Slightly utilizes a third-party payment
service called PayPal because they use 128-bit SSL encryption and
they do not reveal customers' credit card numbers or bank account
numbers to merchants. All of your information is encrypted (scrambled)
prior to being sent over the Internet to PayPal's system.
To verify that your connection is secure, look for
a locked padlock icon or solid key icon at the bottom of your browser
window. You are also using a secure browser when the letters "https"
(rather than "http") are located in the URL address window at the
top of your browser.
PayPal has acquired a digital certificate from Verisign,
Inc., a leading provider of Internet trust services. When you enter
a secure portion of our site (PayPal's shopping cart), an image
of a closed lock or a solid key will appear in the bottom bar of
your browser window. Clicking on this lock or key will activate
a small popup window to display site-security information. This
certificate guarantees that your personal information is being transmitted
in secure (encrypted) form to a PayPal web server, not to some unauthorized
or unknown server.
Once Tootles & Slighlty receives your billing
address information, we protect it by placing it on a system behind
a secure firewall.
